Hong Kong business magnate Silas Chou formed Sportswear Holdings Limited in 1989 with his partner, Lawrence Stroll, to acquire Tommy Hilfiger Corporation. Chou later sold the company to clothing giant Phillips-Van Heusen in 2010 for an estimated €2.5 billion.
