For the state's new first lady, think more Laura Bush than Hillary Clinton, Mitt Romney says.

Gov.-elect Romney, in an interview with the Sunday Herald, said he expects his wife, Ann, won't have a public role in his administration.

But, he said, Ann Romney will continue her years of work for inner-city and young women's causes - causes he promised to support as governor.

"I don't see her playing a role in the administration or becoming an active participant in the political process," Romney said. "I do see her continuing to be a champion for things she believes in."
