The word “Jeep” was registered as trademark in 1963 without a or logo or any sort of emblem, although the Jeep logotype has been a constant for decades on vehicles produced by Kaiser Jeep Corporation and also after the company’s acquisition by Chrysler.
Interestingly, the full version of the Jeep logo has never been spotted on the company’s vehicles. It is mostly used for promotion and other advertising purposes.
The Jeep logo depicts the bonnet of a car, surrounded by two rounded figures on each side that signify headlights. The vertical lines, on the other hand, typify the grills between these headlights. The Jeep logotype is always positioned above the bonnet emblem.
