The Washington Redskins are an immensely popular professional American football team in the East Division of the National Football Conference (NFC) in the National Football League (NFL). Based in Washington, D.C, the team was originally established in 1932 in Boston, Massachusetts as the “Boston Braves”.
Redskins are one of the most successful American football teams in history, having won 13 NFL divisional titles, six NFL conference championships and numerous other accolades. They play their home games at FedExField in Landover, Maryland.

The current version of the Washington Redskins logo features a simplified, modernized form of the native American head inside a yellow circle, with two “tucked feathers” attached to it.
