The Philadelphia Eagles are a popular professional American football team, in the Eastern Division of the National Football League’s (NFL) National Football Conference (NFC), based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Established in 1933 after the Frankford Yellow Jackets went bankrupt, the Eagles have won three NFL titles and numerous other titles and accolades.
Engaged in a tiresome struggle in the beginning, the team has appeared back-to-back in three NFL championships during the 1940s, winning two of them in 1948 and 1949. They won their third title in 1960. Their current home stadium is Lincoln Financial Field.

The Philadelphia Eagles logo originates from the blue eagle symbol which was the official emblem of the New Deal Stimulus Program, a domestic economic program which was launched during the 1930s Great Depression. The logo comprises of a bald blue eagle’s head.
