The official logo for the EuroBasket 2015 European Basketball Championship has been unveiled by Markiyan Lubkivsky – the director of the 39th edition of the tournament which will take place in Ukraine – on the last day of the continental championship in Slovenia. Created by Brandia Central, a Lisbon, Portugal based brand consulting agency, it borrows heavily from Ukrainian traditions, culture and dance.

The search engine giant has finally announced a new logo and navigation bar which will be implemented over the next few weeks on all its websites.

The company says its main objective is to make things simpler and minimize clutter. “Regardless of your routine, getting around Google should be seamless, and once you’re inside an app, you don’t want any distractions,” says Google Tech Lead – Eddie Kessler.

This two-dimensional, flat look – according to Google – has been in use in print for years now.

Microsoft has unveiled a new logo and a revamped search page for its web search engine, Bing, to fit in with the visual makeover the company is planning to roll out across all its brands. According to a Microsoft official, the new logo “is faster, cleaner and more visually appealing.”
