The Who Logo
The Who are often considered as one of the most important bands in the history of rock music. Established in Februrary 1964, its “classic” lineup consisted of guitarist Pete Townshend, singer Roger Daltrey, bassist John Entwistle and drummer Keith Moon. Widely credited as one of the pioneers of “rock opera” and “power chords”, the band has sold more than 100 million records across the world.

Shape of The Who Logo
The iconic “target” logo of The Who comprises of an arrow appearing from the last letter – “o” – of the band’s name. Reminiscent of the gender symbol denoting male, it brilliantly typifies masculinity whilst allowing for an uplifting edge. The two ‘h’s in the Who logo, on the other hand, unite to promote a feeling of unity and cohesiveness.
The roundel symbol has been closely associated with the mod subculture.
