The Miami Dolphins are one of the most famous and successful American football teams in the history of the National Football League (NFL). Based in the Miami metropolitan area, the team was founded by Joe Robbie and Danny Thomas in 1966. Their current home stadium is Sun Life Stadium in the northern suburb of Miami Gardens.
The Dolphins have won the Super Bowl twice and a total of twelve Division titles.
