Land Rover is a famous British automaker headquartered in Gaydon, Warwickshire that is known for its luxury four-wheel-drive vehicles. Founded in 1978, it is the oldest four-wheel-drive car brand in the history after Jeep. The company employs 13,000 people and some of its famous models include Discovery, Defender, Range Rover and Freelander.
The Jaguar Land Rover group was acquired by Tata Motors in June 2008.

The Land Rover logo comprises of a green oval structure that features the company’s name inside it. One of the most iconic car logos in history, it has undergone only a few modifications in more than six decades. A theory suggests that the emblem was actually inspired by a pilchard tin, as the designer was having his lunch when he created it. The company’s current slogan is “Above and Beyond”.
