The current version of the AOL logo was designed by the famous brand consultancy firm Wolff Olins and unveiled in December 2009. The notable change, by far, was the use of letters “Aol.” instead of the usual company name “AOL” in upper-case characters. The previous version of the AOL logo consisted of a strange-looking triangle which somehow appeared like a play symbol.
