Boston College has switched radio stations for its football games this season, one week prior to the opener against Texas Christian. And a change in announcers could stir up a storm.
The games scheduled on WEEI will be heard instead on WBZ, Paul Kelley announced last night. Kelley owns broadcast rights to BC football and basketball games. The latter schedule, also listed on WEEI, will move to WMEX, Kelley said.
Because of WBZ' far-reaching signal, the three-station network in New England scheduled to carry BC football will be abandoned, Kelley reported.
