The Broughdale Community Association is a group for residents living in the neighbourhood of Broughdale, which is in London, Canada, near the University of Western Ontario and its affiliate, King's University College. Our community began as a village in the mid-19th century, and is named after its first pastor, the Reverend Brough, whose house continues to stand on Richmond Street near our small commercial core. The neighbourhood is defined on the north and west by the Thames River, and extends east to Waterloo Street. Our southern boundary is the old London city limit at Huron Street, which ceased to be the northern end of London when we were incorporated into the city in 1961.
