Traffic Jam Improve after Motorcycle Ban

According to traffic information issued by the Guangzhou traffic bureau, traffic problems in Guangzhou have been reduced by 50% and road accidents has dropped by 40% since motorcycles were banned in the downtown area.

Tuesday marks the date when the interim of the motorcycle ban ends and motorcycles running on the streets will be confiscated, according to the new law. In another development, in order to help motorcycle taxi drivers to find jobs, 16 job markets in Guangzhou will open job fairs this Saturday, offering about 3,000 vacancies. (By Fion)
