Izzy Stradlin and the Ju Ju Hounds 1992 - 1993 Izzy Stradlin - rhythm guitar, vocals After leaving Guns N' Roses, Izzy and his old friend Jimmy Ashhurst (ex-Broken Homes) decided to make a new band together. Rick Richards comes from Georgia Satellites while Charlie Quintana from Cruzadors. Izzy: "We've got Rick Richards on the guitar, he used to play with the Georgia Sattelites, but they've splitted now. Yeah, that's sad. Charlie Quintana is on the drums. He played with a lot of people, Bob Dylan, Little Bob, yeah, Your Little Bob! Jimmy Ashhurst is on the bass. He worked a lot with Stiv Bators. And me, as everybody knows, I used to be in the Bee Gees (big laugh). Sorry, I always get confused, I meant Guns N' Roses!". Once when the band was travelling with the tour bus, there happened a fire inside of the vehicle and in one moment everybody had to get out of the bus. After awhile the situation was normal and Ju Ju Hounds continued the trip... Izzy Stradlin - Japan Tour 2000 Izzy Stradlin - rhythm guitar, vocals The chemistry between Izzy and Rick is so great that it was imposible to not have Richards in the band - maestro of six strings like Izzy calls him is the only musician from Ju Ju Hounds who is back with Izzy on the road in 2000. Bassplayer - Duff McKagan is Izzy's old friend from Guns N' Roses. Taz used to play in Reverend Horton Heart. Izzy and his band - Duff, Rick, Ian McLagan (who played on Ju Ju Hounds, Because Guns N' Roses was very popular in Japan, the public went crazy seeing the two of original GNR mates together. McKagan: "In Japan everybody was around us freaked, seeing the two of us together. It was exciting". Guest Appearances 1994 - 2004: Aerosmith & Izzy Stradlin - Roskilde 1994 Steven Tyler - vocals After this danish guest appearance with Steven Tyler's band, the press said that Izzy will replace the Aerosmith's guitar player Brad Whitford who had some family problems at this time and his future in the band was uncertain - but it was just a rumour and it never happen.
