8/4 in Long Island back at Sports Plus will see Christopher Daniels & Matt Sydal tag up for the first time. They agreed to become a team after their final match against each other last Friday in Dayton, which saw Sydal finally score the big win over Daniels. They will take on a young team that is really impressing here in ROH. This Friday in Long Island will have Daniels & Sydal vs. Irish Airborne!!! This promises to be one exciting match. Will Daniels & Sydal gel as a team? Can Irish Airborne really put themselves on the map with a big victory?

Matt Sydal and Jack Evans wrestle under the Generation Next name one last time this Saturday in Cleveland when they face top prospects Davey Richards, Jerrelle Clark & Irish Airborne. They are dropping the Generation Next name because Aries, Strong, Sydal and Evans are today's stars so the Gen Next name no longer fits. They want to go out in style by following the tradition of great, athletic and innovative Generation Next tag matches. All four men have recently returned from the Dragong Gate promotion including a several month stay for Sydal and Evans. In order to make this the most exciting and explosive match possible the Gen Next team has requested that this match follow Dragon Gate rules, which means that no tags are needed. These are the same rules as the five star match of the year candidate Dragon Gate six man from "Supercard Of Honor." Don't blink during this eight man or you will something when these eight spectacular athletes collide in a Dragon Gate rules match!!!
The Christopher Daniels vs. Matt Sydal rivalry will come to an end this Friday in Dayton when Sydal makes his return from Dragon Gate. Daniels holds several victories over Sydal although Sydal has come closer to defeating Daniels in each passing match. Now Sydal will have one last chance to defeat Daniels. Can he finally win the big one?

Matt Sydal is set to return to ROH on 7/28 in Dayton. He will face Christopher Daniels that night. It will be the final one-on-one match between Daniels and Sydal. These two have wrestled a number of times and each time Daniels defeated Sydal. However, each match saw Sydal come closer to victory. Now on 7/28 in Dayton it will be Daniels vs. Sydal one last time and this will be Sydal's final chance to score that elusive win over Daniels. When Austin Aries & Roderick Strong dropped the Generation Next name we wondered what the future of the faction would be as Gen Next also included Jack Evans & Matt Sydal. Now we have our answer. The former Generation Next of Aries, Strong, Evans & Sydal will team together for one last time on 7/29 in Cleveland. They will use the Generation Next name one last time on this show. These four might have an association after this match, but this will be the final time that all four team together as Generation Next. It will be Aries, Strong, Evans & Sydal vs. the next generation in Davey Richards, Jerrelle Clark & Irish Airborne. This does not mean that Richards, Clark & Irish Airborne are a faction. They will all team against Generation Next because they are considered the next generation by ROH management.
