Scott Speed is having a lot of fast fun with the Maserati Gran Sport road car that he received on loan for the rest of the year at the San Marino Grand Prix on April 23. “270 is the max with that thing,” Speed said of the top speed of the car in kilometers per hour, which equates to 168 mph. Speed drives the car to many of the Grands Prix in Europe, and he said he has reached top speed on the German autobahn, where there are no speed limits in some areas.
