 from different social levels clash comically in this spoof on soap operas. Septugenarian Harris Weldon is the patriarch of the town of Grand, PA, where his piano factory is the leading industry. Rattling around the mansion with him are his idiot son and acerbic butler. Also working for Harris is his housekeeper,  who lives in a trailer park with her overweight young daughter, while being amorously pursued by the town's motorcycle cop. Between these extremes of wealth is Harris' niece and her ambitious yuppie husband, who hopes to get involved in the old man's piano company, and of course, his fortune. |
