League Affiliation

As the governing body representing U.S. Soccer in Vermont, the VSSA provides benefits including but not limited to support and insurance coverage for all affiliated leagues, their players, directors / officers and game sites.

Player Registration

To receive and maximize all available affiliation benefits, players must register with the VSSA through the league within which they play. Registration with any VSSA affiliated league also carries over to other VSSA affiliated leagues.

Insurance

One of the key roles the VSSA plays is to provide Participant Accident Insurance for all VSSA affiliated league players. Should you be hurt or injured during a VSSA sanctioned game you are eligible to receive medical support and coverage.

What you NEED to know about U.S. Soccer’s 2022 MAAPP policy, approved by the Center for SafeSport, is contained in the Safe Soccer Framework and can be found online here.

First Ever VT vs NH Adult Twin State Game

June 21, 2023 - Created to foster interstate relationships and friendly competition between Vermont and New Hampshire adult soccer leagues, a team of pier nominated NH based players will travel to Virtue Field to take on a side of pier nominated players from Vermont’s own, Elite 8 Soccer League.

Teams will compete for the "Rusty Cup”, bragging rights and the honor of keeping the cup in their home state for the year to come.

Join us at Virtue field this Saturday, June 24th at 4pm to show your support for local players and the game we all love.


Women's Soccer League Raising Money for Special Olympics.

Aug 5, 2021 -There have long been adult soccer leagues all over Vermont. On the men’s side of things, former college and youth club players have had the chance to continue playing against high level competition. But now the women are getting that same chance.
