Aussies in contention at Banff

When do these award ceremonies end?

Hot on the heels of the Rose d’Or comes the 29th Banff World Television Festival which has entries from 44 countries.

To be staged on June 9 in Canada, the awards will include 6 Aussie nominees: Erky Perky (Animation, pictured), 4, Searching 4 Sandeep (Arts Documentaries), Summer Heights High, The Chaser’s War on Everything (Comedy), and Tasmanian Devil: The Fast and Furious Life of Errol Flynn (History & Biography Programs). It is the second significant international nomination for The Chaser this year.

The comedy finalists are competing head to head against big names including Desperate Housewives and Extras.
