I came to Longhope for one night - everything was amazing. The breakfast food was incredible and reasonably-priced. The view was great, the service was very good. Plus, I was able to park the car on-site. Stunning location, Gloucestershire airport was 25 km away. It was a very nice area, a handy base for me. The stay was very pleasant, would recommend.

situated in a nice area .clean
pipes in the room made a noise ( Rattling pipes when water run through them) when ever somebody in the ajoining rooms flushed the toilets or run a tap . This issue did wake us up a number of times during the night , so both myself and my partner did not get a good night sleep. when we checked out of room on the sunday we was not asked if our stay was satisfactory before given the bill. Is a really nice place to stay but will not visit again due to the issues stated above, and unfortunatly would not recommend the Farmers boy because a good nights sleep would be hard to achieve .

The room had a lovely design and was situated in the Forrest of Dean. It's in a great spot, close to a pretty tree-filled valley, as well as some cozy pubs and restaurants. Plenty of opportunities to explore the beauty of the Forest of Dean 🌲.

The owners (and mother-in-law) were extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble including driving us into Ross when we could not get a taxi. The attached deli is value for money and the pies are excellent
