The Chestnuts in Shanklin is an extremely clean building in a nice and unbeatable location not far from the town center, pubs and restaurants, and the sea. It's easy to get to a scenic recreational beach. The breakfast is fresh with many different options and the staff is amicable.

The hosts were friendly and helpful, providing a warm welcome. the location was convenient, close to the beach and within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Another advantage was the on-site parking, making it easy to get around and explore the area.
The en-suite was quite small and the shower space was a bit cramped. the water took a long time to heat up, resulting in wasted water.

It was just a short walk to the seafront, where I enjoyed beautiful sunset strolls. the village for supper was also within easy reach, allowing me to try out different local restaurants. the B&B was conveniently located near the rail station and the beach, making it easy for me to explore other areas of the Isle of Wight.
I did have a bit of an issue with the bathroom sink. the water took quite a long time to heat up, and it seemed to be draining slowly, which was a little concerning.

The value for money at this place was excellent, and the room itself was comfortable and well laid out. The location was ideal, just a short stroll away from the coastal path and beach. The hosts, Haley and Nick, were incredibly welcoming and provided great recommendations for things to do and places to eat. Their breakfast selection was fantastic, with a variety of choices to suit everyone's preferences. a wonderful stay at this guest house!
