Peaceful location surrounded by nature. Helpful owner/operator. Clean, although decor is a bit dated. Tucked away from highway with a nearby stream. Great for kids. Extra pillows and blankets provided. Friendly staff. Park-like setting. Good value for the price.

We loved the comforts of the hotel. The location at a medium distance from Immanuel Lutheran Church was beautiful. The small market and small markets next to the hotel were convenient. The restaurant was great for a substantial meal and also offered gluten-free options.

I had a delightful stay at this charming resort nestled in the beautiful Forest City area. The location was perfect, with stunning views of the park and waterways from the restaurant where I enjoyed a glass of wine. The hotel is also conveniently located near the Winnebago river and a lovely golf course. The room was comfortable and clean, and the bathroom was well-maintained. The staff provided excellent service throughout my stay, and the breakfast offered a variety of options to satisfy my appetite.
I did encounter some disappointment with the limited selection of the continental breakfast.

The suites at this hotel were quite spacious and comfortable, allowing for a relaxing stay. The location of the hotel was also convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and amenities. Additionally, the staff were friendly and accommodating, making the check-in process smooth and hassle-free.
First, the breakfast provided was below average, lacking variety and quality. Secondly, the overall maintenance of the property left much to be desired, with various areas in need of attention.

I had a fantastic stay at The Lodge Resort Hotel. The staff was so friendly and helpful, and they even had the rollaway bed I requested already set up. The hotel is tucked back away from the highway, in a peaceful parklike setting. The location on the banks of a river added to the beauty of the surroundings. Not obvious to find, but once you do, it's worth it.

The value for money at Lodge Resort was excellent - we got a lot for what we paid. The room had a unique charm, with some of them designed to look like horse stables. The location was perfect, nestled in a beautiful park-like setting and close to the Winnebago visitors center. The staff treated us like family, leaving us the key and directions to our room when we arrived late at 3:00 A.M. They were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and even had the rollaway bed set up and ready for us. Loved the relaxed atmosphere and the serenity of the secluded area surrounded by nature.
The breakfast experience could have been better if the toaster didn't set off the fire alarm.
