Use News widgets on Mac
You can use News widgets to keep an eye on breaking news and stories about specific topics, such as Science or Travel. You can add News widgets to Notification Center or your Mac desktop.

There are two types of News widgets: Topic widgets and Today widgets. You can customize Topic widgets to display stories about specific topics. Today widgets help you keep track of today’s news, including top stories.
