Cellular Private Network MDM payload settings for Apple devices
You can configure Cellular Private Network settings on Apple devices enrolled in a mobile device management (MDM) solution. This payload can be used to provide device info on private network deployments including geographical location, preference over Wi-Fi, and network deployment type.
The Cellular Private Network payload supports the following. For more information, see Payload information.
Supported payload identifier: com.apple.cellularprivatenetwork.managed
Supported operating systems and channels: iOS 17, iPadOS 17, Shared iPad device.
Supported enrollment types: User Enrollment, Device Enrollment, Automated Device Enrollment.
Duplicates allowed: False—only one Cellular Private Network payload can be delivered to a device.
