See what friends are listening to in Apple Music on Windows
After you create an Apple Music profile, you can find and follow friends to see what they’re listening to.
Note: Apple Music isn’t available in all countries or regions. See the Apple Support article Availability of Apple Media Services.
Follow friends
After you allow Apple Music to access your contacts, you can send a Follow request to any of your contacts who are already sharing music in Apple Music; optionally, you can invite other contacts to join Apple Music.
Go to the Apple Music app on your Windows device.
Select your name at the bottom of the sidebar, then select View Profile.
Select Find More Friends at the bottom of your profile.
Note: If you added contacts to the People app, those names appear in this list.
Do one of the following:
Select Follow next to one of your contacts who is sharing music.
A request is sent if your friend needs to approve the request; otherwise, you start following them and you can immediately see what they’re listening to.
Select Invite next to a contact’s name, then choose to either send an email or a text message invitation.
When your friend receives the invitation, they need to join Apple Music, create a profile, and approve you as a follower before you can see what they’re listening to.
Select Done.
Alternatively, you can enter a friend’s name in the search field, choose a result, then select Follow. If you can’t find someone, make sure they created a profile. If the friend’s profile is private, they have to approve your request.
