Search in Freeform on Mac
You can find a specific Freeform board or text within a board when you use search.
Search all boards
In the Freeform app on your Mac, click a category in the sidebar.
If you don’t see the sidebar, choose View > Show Sidebar.
Enter what you’re looking for in the search field.
Boards with text, links, or descriptions that match your search criteria are shown. You can choose a different option in the sidebar if you want to search different boards.
Find and replace text in a specific board
In the Freeform app on your Mac, click a category in the sidebar, then double-click a board to open it.
If you don’t see the sidebar, choose View > Show Sidebar.
Click anywhere in the board’s canvas, choose Edit > Find > Find (or press Command-F), then type text in the search field.
Text in shapes, sticky notes, and text boxes that matches your search criteria is shown.
Do one of the following:
Go to the next or previous instance in the results: Click the arrow buttons located at the top of the window.
Clear the search field: Click the Clear button at the end of the search field.
Replace the found text with new text: Select the Replace checkbox next to the Done button, enter the new text in the Replace field (next to the search field), then click Replace. To replace all instances of the found text with the new text, click All.
When you search with Spotlight, boards are also included in the results.
