Change AutoFill preferences in Safari on Mac
In the Safari app on your Mac, use AutoFill preferences to fill in contact information, user names and passwords, credit card information, and other forms on webpages. To change these preferences, choose Safari > Preferences, then click AutoFill.

User names and passwords | Securely save user names and passwords you enter on webpages, then easily fill in the saved information when you revisit the same webpages. Click Edit to view or edit your saved information. | ||||||||||
Credit cards | Securely save the credit card number, expiration date, cardholder name, and security code you enter on webpages, then easily fill in the saved information when you use the card again. When you add a credit card in AutoFill preferences, the security code is optional. When you add a previously unsaved credit card while making a purchase, the security code is required. Important: Saving the security code with your card makes purchases convenient, but anyone with access to your Mac can make purchases with the card. Click Edit to add or remove saved credit cards, or to change the information for a saved credit card. If you have Apple Card in Wallet, it also appears in the list. See Use Wallet & Apple Pay. Note: If you use iCloud Keychain to keep information safe on your Mac and other devices, you can use AutoFill to enter previously saved credit card info on all those devices. | ||||||||||
