Energy Saver MDM payload settings for Apple devices
Use the Energy Saver payload to configure power-related settings for Mac computers enrolled in a mobile device management (MDM) solution. Some hardware-specific options must be set manually on the Mac and aren’t available through a configuration profile. To view specific Energy Saver settings, see Change energy saver preferences on Mac.
The Energy Saver payload supports the following. For more information, see Payload information.
Supported payload identifier: com.apple.MCX
Supported operating systems and channels: macOS device.
Supported enrolment types: Device Enrolment, Automated Device Enrolment.
Duplicates allowed: True — only one Energy Saver payload can be delivered to a device.

Schedule | Use the settings to schedule Startup or Wake times, as well as Sleep or Shutdown times. The settings available mirror those in:

Destroy FileVault key on standby | Prevents macOS from storing a temporary FileVault key in SMC or RAM when the Mac is on standby. | No | |||||||||
