Organize and sort your books
In iBooks, there are several ways to view the books in your library. For example, you can see books by author, manually reorder books, and more.
In your library, do any of the following:
Choose a book view: Click the options at the top of your library. For example, click Collections to see any collections you created.
Sort your books: Click Sort By (at the top right of your library), then choose an option. For example, click Sort By, then choose Most Recent to see the books you read recently listed at the top.
Manually reorder books: Click Sort By (at the top right of your library), choose Sort Manually, then drag books where you want them.
Show book titles and authors: Click Sort By (at the top right of your library), then choose Show Title & Author. If you see Hide Title & Author, book titles and authors are already being displayed.
Show all books you purchased: Click Sort By (at the top right of your library), then choose Show iCloud Books. If you see Hide iCloud Books, the books you purchased are already being displayed.
You can see all the books you purchased using your Apple ID, except for any that are hidden. Books that you haven’t downloaded on your Mac appear with an iCloud status icon
