Use a braille display with Apple TV
You can use a Bluetooth® braille display to read VoiceOver output, and a braille display with input keys and other controls to control Apple TV when VoiceOver is turned on. For a list of supported braille displays, go to the Braille Displays for iOS website.
Connect a braille display
In Settings
on Apple TV, go to General > Accessibility > VoiceOver > Braille.Select Braille Display to pair the display with Apple TV.
When VoiceOver is used with a braille display, the display prints onscreen text for the item you are hovering over. As you move focus, VoiceOver speaks and the braille display prints the text. The braille display may include additional buttons that support basic Apple TV navigation.
Adjust braille settings
In Settings
on Apple TV, go to General > Accessibility > VoiceOver > Braille, then do any of the following:Select Output or Input, then select Contracted, Uncontracted Eight-dot, or Uncontracted Six-dot.
Select Status Cell, then select Left or Right.
Select Braille Code, then select a language option.
Select Alert Display Duration, then swipe to select a new duration.
Output closed captions in Braille during media playback
In Settings
on Apple TV, go to General > Accessibility > VoiceOver > Verbosity > Media Descriptions, then choose Braille or Speech and Braille.
Set the language for VoiceOver
In Settings
on Apple TV, go to General > Language & Region, then choose a language option and region option.If you change the language for Apple TV, you may need to reset the language for VoiceOver and your braille display.
Set the leftmost or rightmost braille cell to display status information
In Settings
on Apple TV, go to General > Accessibility > VoiceOver > Braille > Status Cell, then select Left or Right.
