Turn off Mark As Lost in Find My on Mac
When you find the device you marked as lost, you can unlock a Mac by entering the password or passcode, or turn off Lost Mode in the Find My app on your Mac.
Tip: You can also turn off Lost Mode online in Find Devices on iCloud.com.
Unlock your Mac
When you find your lost Mac, do one of the following:
Mac with Apple silicon: Enter your Apple Account password.
See the Apple Support articles If you forgot your Apple Account email address or phone number and If you forgot your Apple Account password.
Intel-based Mac: Enter the numeric passcode on the device to unlock it (the one you set up when you marked your Mac as lost).
If you forgot the passcode, you can recover it using Find Devices on iCloud.com. See Use Lost Mode in Find Devices in the iCloud User Guide.
Turn off Lost Mode
After you find your lost iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple Watch or supported iPhone Wallet with MagSafe, turn off Lost Mode.
Go to the Find My app on your Mac.
Click Devices, select the device you marked as lost, then click on the map.
Below Mark As Lost, click Pending or Activated.
Click Turn Off Lost Mode, then click Turn Off to confirm.
You can also turn off Lost Mode on the lost device by entering its passcode (the one you use to unlock your device). If you turned on Stolen Device Protection on your iPhone, you may need to use Face ID or Touch ID.
For a supported iPhone Wallet with MagSafe, you can turn off Lost Mode by attaching the wallet to your iPhone.
Verify your Apple Account to use cards, keys and passes
After you turn off Mark As Lost on your device, you may need to verify your Apple Account to reenable cards, keys and passes. On the device, do one of the following:
In the notification that appears, click Apple Account settings or tap Settings, then follow the on-screen instructions.
Go to Wallet & Apple Pay settings, click or tap a card, click or tap Enter Password, then follow the on-screen instructions.
Note: Location sharing and finding devices aren’t available in all countries or regions.
