Read stories shared with you in News on Mac
When someone shares Apple News stories with you using the Messages app, you can easily find the stories in Shared with You in the News sidebar. (News must be selected in Shared with You settings in Messages, and the person sharing the story must be in your Contacts app.)
Note: Apple News and Apple News+ aren’t available in all countries or regions. See the Apple Support article Availability of Apple Media Services.
Go to the News app
on your Mac.Click Shared with You in the sidebar. (If the sidebar isn’t shown, click
in the toolbar.)In the list of shared stories, do any of the following:
Click a shared story to read it in News.
Click the name of the person who shared a story to reply to them using Messages. You can also reply while reading the story—click the name shown just below the toolbar.
Click
for a story to take other actions—for example, save the story, get suggestions for similar stories, or follow the story’s channel.
