Use Apple Cash on Apple Watch
With Apple Cash (available in the U.S.), you can send person-to-person payments and make purchases using Apple Pay. Exchanging Apple Cash with someone is as simple as sending a message, using Siri, or holding your Apple Watch near the recipient’s iPhone or Apple Watch.
Make purchases with Apple Cash
On Apple Watch, you can use Apple Cash for purchases wherever Visa and Apple Pay are accepted. See Make purchases with Apple Pay on Apple Watch.
Send Apple Cash in Messages
Go to the Messages app on your Apple Watch.
Start a new message or select an existing conversation, tap , then tap Apple Cash.
Enter the amount by turning the Digital Crown or tapping the plus and minus buttons.
To send an amount not in whole dollars—$10.95, for example—tap the dollar amount, tap after the decimal, then turn the Digital Crown to choose a value.
Tap Send, confirm the payment, then double-click the side button.
When the payment is complete, a confirmation message appears.
Send Apple Cash with Siri
Siri: Say something like “Send Claire $25.” If you have more than one Claire among your contacts, you’re asked to choose one.
Send Apple Cash by bringing devices together with Tap to Cash
With Tap to Cash, you can send Apple Cash to someone by holding your iPhone or Apple Watch near their iPhone or Apple Watch, without having to share your phone number or email address.
Note: Tap to Cash is supported on all iPhone models with iOS 18 and all Apple Watch models with watchOS 11.
Go to the Wallet app on your Apple Watch.
Tap the Apple Cash card, then tap Tap to Cash.
Enter the amount by turning the Digital Crown or tapping the plus and minus buttons.
Tap Send, confirm the payment, then double-click the side button.
Hold your Apple Watch near the recipient’s iPhone or Apple Watch.
Continue holding the devices near each other until the payment information appears on the recipient’s screen.
The recipient can choose Accept or Decline.
