Use your Apple Account with iCloud
You use your Apple Account to access iCloud and all other Apple services. When you sign in to your Apple Account on a device, you have access to all the photos, files, and other data you store in iCloud.
Set up your Apple Account to use with iCloud
Everyone should have their own Apple Account. Having your own account ensures that your data remains private. Only you can access your information, make changes, or delete your content.
You can create an Apple Account when you set up an Apple device or by going to the Apple Account website. If you already have one, you can use it to access your iCloud data.
To use many iCloud features, you need to have two-factor authentication set up. See the Apple Support article Two-factor authentication for Apple Account.
To change settings related to your Apple Account, go to the Apple Account website.
Sign in to your Apple Account
You can access data stored in iCloud on any Apple device where you’re signed in to your Apple Account. You can also access some information in iCloud for Windows on a PC and on iCloud.com. Sign in to the same Apple Account on each device, so you see the same information on each device.
