Select artists as favorites in Apple Music on Mac
When you subscribe to Apple Music, you can get notifications about new releases from your favorite artists, and easily get back to their music from Listen Now.
Note: Not all features are available in the Apple Music Voice Plan. Apple Music and Apple Music Voice aren’t available in all countries or regions. See the Apple Support article Availability of Apple Media Services.
Select artists as favorites
In the Music app
on your Mac, do any of the following to find an artist you want to select as a favorite:Navigate through the Music window: Click any item in the sidebar, find music by the artist, then click their name.
Search the Apple Music catalog: See Search for music.
On the artist page, click the Favorite button

You automatically receive notifications about new releases from all artists you select as favorites. See Manage notifications from Music.
After you select at least three artists as favorites, you can easily find their new music and playlists when you click Listen Now in the sidebar and scroll to Favorite Artists in the main Music window.
Remove artists as favorites
In the Music app
on your Mac, click Listen Now in the sidebar.Scroll to Favorite Artists in the main Music window, then select the artist you want to remove as a favorite.
On the artist page, click the Remove Favorite button
