View shared photos and albums on Apple TV
In the Photos app , photos and videos you shared with others (or that others shared with you) appear in the Shared Albums category in the menu bar.
Browse and view shared photos
Open the Photos app on Apple TV, then navigate to the Shared Albums category in the menu bar.
Note: If you don’t see the Shared Albums category, go to Settings > Users and Accounts > [default user account name], then select Photos and turn on Shared Albums.
To browse your photos, do any of the following:
Browse your most recent shared photos: Select the Activity row, then navigate left or right through the photos.
View a shared album: Select an album in My Albums, then navigate left or right to scroll through the photos. To view a list of people who are subscribed to this shared album, select People.
To view and scroll through photos full screen, select a photo, then navigate left or right.
View comments and like photos in a shared album
Open the Photos app on Apple TV, then navigate to the Shared Albums category in the menu bar.
Note: If you don’t see the Shared Albums category, go to Settings > Users and Accounts > [default user account name], then select Photos and turn on Shared Albums.
Select a photo in a shared album so that it’s displayed full screen, then navigate up to view when the photo was posted, along with comments from others.
To mark a photo as one you like, press the clickpad center (Siri Remote 2nd generation or later) or the touch surface (Siri Remote 1st generation).
Delete a shared album
Open the Photos app on Apple TV, then navigate to the Shared Albums category in the menu bar.
Note: If you don’t see the Shared Albums category, go to Settings > Users and Accounts > [default user account name], then select Photos and turn on Shared Albums.
Select an album from My Albums, then select People.
Select Delete Shared Stream.
The album is removed from Apple TV, but not from iCloud.
