ENERGY STAR compliance statement for Apple TV
Apple TV meets the ENERGY STAR® guidelines for energy efficiency. Reducing energy consumption saves money and helps conserve valuable resources.
To save energy, Apple TV is set to sleep after 15 minutes of user inactivity. To put Apple TV to sleep immediately, do one of the following:
On the Siri Remote (2nd generation or later): Press the Power button on the remote. To wake Apple TV, press the Power button on the remote.
On the Siri Remote (1st generation): Press and hold the TV button on the remote to open Control Center, then select Sleep. To wake Apple TV, press the TV button on the remote.
To change sleep settings in Settings , go to General > Sleep After.
