Open additional tabs in Control Center on Apple TV
Additional tabs appear in Control Center depending on your home setup and what you’re doing. For example, you can access HomeKit cameras and scenes; open audio, AirPods or SharePlay controls; and open controls for a connected Continuity Camera with Apple TV 4K (2nd generation or later).
Control HomeKit cameras
The HomeKit tab appears if you’ve set up HomeKit- or Matter-compatible security cameras or created a HomeKit scene in the Home app on an iOS, iPadOS, or macOS (Catalina or later) device signed in with the same Apple ID.
For example, you can view video from supported security cameras and receive a notification when a supported doorbell camera detects someone at your door. You get a personal notification if HomeKit recognizes the person from your Photos library.
You can view multiple cameras at the same time, control an accessory attached to the room you’re viewing, or monitor your live video while watching something else in Picture in Picture mode.
Press and hold the TV button on the Siri Remote to open Control Center, then select the HomeKit tab .
Select a camera to see a full-screen image and more options.
If you have multiple cameras, a full-screen grid view of all the cameras is shown.
Siri: On the Siri Remote, press and hold the Siri button , then say “Show me” followed by the name of the camera in the Home app. For example, say “Show me the front yard camera”.
To see more options, select a camera, then do any of the following:
Control an accessory attached to the room you’re currently viewing: Select the Accessory button , then select an accessory to turn it on or off.
View live video from multiple cameras at the same time: Select the Grid View button . Select a camera for a full-screen view.
View live video from a camera in Picture in Picture mode: Select the Picture in Picture button . See Turn on Picture in Picture viewing.

Run a HomeKit scene
The HomeKit tab appears if you’ve set up HomeKit- or Matter-compatible security cameras or created a HomeKit scene in the Home app on an iOS, iPadOS, or macOS (Catalina or later) device signed in with the same Apple ID.
Scenes let you control multiple accessories in your home. For example, you can create a Watching TV scene that dims the lights and sets the temperature.
Press and hold the TV button on the Siri Remote, then select the HomeKit tab in the Control Center.
Select the scene for secure HomeKit-compatible products such as door locks, lights, motorized doors or windows, security systems, and garage doors.

See what’s playing in Music
When music is playing or paused in the Music app on Apple TV, you can open playback controls from Control Center.
Press and hold the TV button on the Siri Remote to open Control Center, then select the Now Playing tab .
Do any of the following:
Open the Music app to the currently playing item: Select the item.
Play, pause, or go the next or previous item: Select a playback control.
Open AirPods controls
After you connect AirPods (3rd generation), AirPods Pro, or AirPods Max to Apple TV, you can open AirPods controls from Control Center when you’re signed in on Apple TV using the same Apple ID associated with the AirPods.
Tip: To switch users on Apple TV, see Switch users in the Profiles tab on Apple TV.
Note: In Control Center on Apple TV HD, controls appear for AirPods Pro and AirPods Max only and are limited to noise cancellation (because Spatial Audio is not supported on Apple TV HD).
Press and hold the TV button on the Siri Remote to open Control Center, then select the AirPods tab .
Select options for Adaptive Audio on AirPods Pro (2nd generation), Noise Control, and Spatial Audio, or select Share Audio to share your audio with a second pair of headphones.
Open SharePlay controls on Apple TV 4K (2nd generation or later)
SharePlay lets you watch movies or shows together with anyone using FaceTime on an iPhone or iPad.
Start SharePlay from FaceTime on Apple TV 4K (2nd generation or later).
A SharePlay indicator appears in the upper-right corner of the Home Screen on Apple TV.
Press and hold the TV button on the Siri Remote to open Control Center, then select the SharePlay tab .
Adjust SharePlay controls.

Open SharePlay controls on Apple TV HD or 4K (1st generation)
SharePlay lets you watch movies or shows together with anyone using FaceTime on an iPhone or iPad.
Make sure the current Apple TV user has a FaceTime call in progress on an iPhone or iPad (requires iOS 15.1 or later, or iPadOS 15.1 or later), and that a SharePlay indicator appears in the upper-right corner of the Home Screen on Apple TV.
Press and hold the TV button on the Siri Remote, then select the SharePlay tab in the Control Center.
If you haven’t started SharePlay yet, select Start on Apple TV and confirm on the iPhone or iPad that’s participating in SharePlay.
Adjust SharePlay controls.

Open FaceTime controls on Apple TV 4K (2nd generation or later)
Start a FaceTime call on Apple TV 4K (2nd generation or later).
A FaceTime indicator appears in the upper-right corner of the Home Screen on Apple TV.
Press and hold the TV button on the Siri Remote to open Control Center, then select the FaceTime tab .
Adjust FaceTime controls.
Open Continuity Camera controls on Apple TV 4K (2nd generation or later)
Continuity Camera controls appear in Control Center on Apple TV 4K (2nd generation or later) when you’ve connected an iPhone or iPad to Apple TV to make calls with FaceTime or other video conferencing apps.
Press and hold the TV button on the Siri Remote to open Control Center, then select the Camera tab .
Adjust any of the following controls that appear onscreen:
Center Stage: Select to keep everyone in the room perfectly framed, even as they move around.
Portrait: Select to focus on the subject and blur the background image.
Reactions: Select to recognize hand gestures you make that generate onscreen effects, such as hearts or fireworks. See Add Reactions with hand gestures.
When you’re done making changes, press the Back button (Siri Remote 2nd generation or later) or button (Siri Remote 1st generation).
