ENERGY STAR compliance statement for Apple TV
As an ENERGY STAR® partner, Apple has determined that this product meets the ENERGY STAR guidelines for energy efficiency. The ENERGY STAR program is a partnership with electronic equipment manufacturers to promote energy-efficient products. Reducing energy consumption of products saves money and helps conserve valuable resources.
By default, power management is enabled and puts Apple TV to sleep after 15 minutes of user inactivity. To put Apple TV to sleep immediately, do one of the following:
On the Siri Remote (2nd generation): Press the Power button on the remote. To wake Apple TV, press the Power button on the remote.
On the Siri Remote (1st generation): Press and hold the TV button on the remote to open Control Center, then select Sleep. To wake Apple TV, press the TV button on the remote.
To change sleep settings in Settings , go to General > Sleep After.
