Share book or audiobook information in Books on Mac

1. In the Books app on your Mac, click All (or another collection) in the sidebar, then click a book or audiobook.

2. Click , then choose Mail, Messages, or another app or service.

When someone shares book or audiobook information with you using the Messages app , you can find it in Shared with You in the Books sidebar. (Books must be selected in Shared with You settings in Messages.)

• In the Books app on your Mac, click Reading Now in the sidebar, then scroll down to Shared with You. See Keep track of shared content in Messages.

1. In the Books app on your Mac, click Books (or another collection) in the sidebar, then double-click a book.

2. On a page, select the text that you want to quote.

   A quote can include up to 200 words. Sharing is available only in the United States.

3. Control-click the text, choose Share, then choose Mail, Messages, Notes, or another app or service.

3. Move the pointer to the top of the book, then click the Notes and Highlights button in the toolbar.

4. In the Notes panel, Control-click a note, choose Share, then choose Mail, Messages, or Notes.
