Lock Screen Message MDM payload settings for Apple devices

You can set the Lock Screen Message settings on iPhone and iPad devices enrolled in a mobile device management (MDM) solution. Use the Lock Screen Message payload to define text to be displayed in the Login window and on the Lock Screen.

The Lock Screen Message payload supports the following. For more information, see Payload information.

Supported payload identifier: com.apple.shareddeviceconfiguration
Supported operating systems and channels: iOS, iPadOS, Shared iPad device.
Supported enrollment types: Automated Device Enrollment.
Duplicates allowed: False—only one Lock Screen Message payload can be delivered to a device.

Lock Screen footnote			Displays content on the Login window and Lock Screen.						No
Asset tag			Displays the asset tag information in the Login window and on the Lock Screen.						No
