Use an Apple device to sign in or make purchases on Apple TV
You can authorize purchases and subscriptions on Apple TV using an Apple Watch, or using Face ID or Touch ID on an iOS or iPadOS device. You can also sign in to supported apps on an iOS or iPadOS device.
Apple TV automatically detects a nearby Apple device during sign-in to supported apps or when you’re making purchases, so that you don’t have to enter passwords manually on Apple TV.
When prompted during the sign-in or purchase process, select Sign In with Apple Device, then follow the onscreen instructions to complete the process on a nearby Apple device.
Note: Apple Watch is supported for purchases only.
Thanks for your feedback.
