Share purchases with others in your Family Sharing group
As a family member, you have immediate access to purchases that other family members share with each other. You can download their purchases on your computer, and iOS and iPadOS devices at any time. You can let other family members access your purchases in the same way. You can hide individual purchases you don’t want other family members to share.
Before you can share family purchases, you must Join a Family Sharing group in Family Sharing and set up Purchase Sharing.
For information about changing Family Sharing settings using an iOS or iPadOS device, see the Apple Support article Share App Store, iTunes Store, and Apple Books purchases with Family Sharing.
For information about changing Family Sharing settings in the Music app, see Use Family Sharing to share iTunes Store purchases in Music.
View and download purchases made by other family members
Go to the Purchased section in Music, the App Store, or Apple Books.
In Music: Choose Account > Purchased. If you don’t see that menu command, choose Account > Sign In.
In App Store: Choose Store > View My Account. If you don’t see that menu command, choose Store > Sign In.
In Books: Choose Store > Book Store Home, then click Purchased below Quick Links on the right.
Click your name or choose a family member to view their purchases.
Download the items you want.
When a family member initiates a purchase, it’s billed directly to the family organizer’s account. Once purchased, the item is added to the initiating family member’s account and is shared with the rest of the family. If the family organizer ever stops Family Sharing, each person keeps the items they chose to purchase—even if they were paid for by the family organizer. For information about iCloud storage upgrade purchases, see Manage iCloud storage.

Note: To share purchases, family members must be in the same iTunes Store country or region. See the Apple Support article Change your Apple ID country or region.
