Switch users in the Profiles tab on Apple TV
You can quickly switch between users in the Profiles tab in Control Center so that each person in the household gets their own unique Up Next video list, video and music collections, Game Center data, and recommendations.
Switch to or add another user
Press and hold the TV button on the Siri Remote, then select the Profiles tab in Control Center.
Select a user or select Add User and follow the onscreen instructions.
Tip: If your profile on Apple TV has voice recognition set up, press and hold the Siri button on the Siri Remote and say, “Switch to my profile.”
When you switch to another user, the previous user is signed out, and the TV and Music apps refresh with the new user’s unique Up Next lists, video or music collections, and recommendations.
Note: Switching users does not change the Photos app or other settings associated with the default user’s Apple ID.
When you’re finished, press the Back button (Siri Remote 2nd generation or later) or button (Siri Remote 1st generation).
Note: To remove Family Sharing suggestions from the list in the Profiles tab, select a person, then choose “Don’t suggest [name of person].”
