Sync songs you identify using Control Center, Siri, or Shortcuts to the Shazam app
When your iCloud and Shazam app settings are correctly configured, songs you identify using Control Center, Siri, or Shortcuts are automatically synced to My Music in the Shazam app. iCloud securely stores your identified songs and keeps them updated across all your devices (when you’re signed in to the same Apple Account)—without using any of your iCloud storage.
To confirm that your identified songs are synced to the Shazam app on all your Apple devices, do the following:
Make sure you’ve updated the Shazam app to the latest version.
If you haven’t done so already, turn on two-factor authentication for your Apple Account:
On iPhone or iPad: Go to Settings > [your name] > Sign-In & Security, then tap Two-Factor Authentication. Tap Continue, then follow the onscreen instructions.
On Mac: Choose Apple menu > System Settings > [your name] > Sign-In & Security, then click Two-Factor Authentication. Click Turn On, then follow the onscreen instructions.
Make sure Music Recognition and Shazam are turned on:
On iPhone or iPad: Go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud, then in the list of apps using iCloud, confirm Music Recognition and Shazam are turned on.
On Apple Vision Pro: Go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud, then in the list of apps using iCloud, confirm Shazam is turned on.
On Mac: Choose Apple menu > System Settings > [your name] > iCloud, then in the list of apps using iCloud, confirm Music Recognition is turned on.
Make sure iCloud is turned on in Shazam app settings:
On iPhone, iPad, or Apple Vision Pro: Go to the Shazam app , tap My Music, tap Settings , then confirm iCloud Sync is turned on.
