Talk to your Apple TV
Siri makes interacting with Apple TV easy, fun and informative. You can search for movies, TV shows, music or apps; find actors or directors you like; control playback; open your apps; and even ask about sport, weather and stocks — no matter what’s happening onscreen.
Siri doesn’t talk back to you on Apple TV like it does on iPhone and other devices, but it’ll carry out your request and display the results onscreen.

Search and control Apple TV with your voice
Press and hold the Siri button on the Siri Remote and start talking.
Siri understands a wide range of queries and intuitively applies them to the current context whenever possible. To see some examples of what Siri can do, see Search for content and apps on Apple TV and Other things you can ask Siri on Apple TV.
Dictate instead of type
Whenever you see a text entry field, you can use your voice instead of using the onscreen keyboard.
Press and hold the Siri button on the Siri Remote and say the text you want to enter. You can even speak individual characters — for example, when entering usernames and passwords.

Type Siri queries
You can type your queries to Siri instead of using your voice.
