Share podcasts on Mac
If you find a show you like, you can share it with others in a variety of ways. If you share the show with Messages, your recipient can find it in the Shared with You section of their Podcasts app. See Listen to podcasts shared with you.
Share a show or episode
Go to the Podcasts app
on your Mac.Search or browse for a show or episode, or click a category in the sidebar.
Select a show or episode to see its information page.
If you’re sharing an episode, click Share Episode.
Click
, then choose how you want to share the show or episode:With AirDrop, Mail, Messages, or Notes: Choose an app, then add the recipient’s details. People you’ve sent messages to recently appear above the share options. Click a name to quickly share the show or episode with them in Messages.
With a link: Choose Copy Link, then paste it into another document or app, such as Mail. When your recipient clicks the link, the show or episode opens in Podcasts.
Share an episode from a specific point
Go to the Podcasts app
on your Mac.Note: Transcript availability may vary by language, and by country or region.
Select text within the transcript, Control-click it, then choose “Share from [timestamp].”
Choose how you want to share the episode:
With AirDrop, Mail, Messages, or Notes: Choose an app, then add the recipient’s details. People you’ve sent messages to recently appear above the share options. Click a name to quickly share the episode with them in Messages.
With a link: Choose Copy Link, then paste it into another document or app, such as Mail. When your recipient clicks the link, the episode opens in Podcasts.
