Use multiple libraries in the Apple TV app on Mac
You can have more than one media library in the Apple TV app. For example, you can have a library of home videos that doesn’t appear in your regular library. Or you can keep some of your videos in a library on an external storage device.
In the Apple TV app on your Mac, choose TV > Quit TV.
Press and hold the Option key while you reopen the Apple TV app.
In the window that appears, do one of the following:
Create a new library: Click Create Library.
Choose a different library: Click Choose Library.
You can name your new library (the folder containing your TV content) whatever you like. For best results, if you create additional media libraries, don’t name the new libraries “TV” or “New TV.” Make sure each library has its own unique name so you’ll know which is which.
In each library you create, you can select different preferences for the TV folder, the types of content that are displayed, restrictions, and the library name. To set preferences for a library, choose TV > Preferences while the Library pane is open.
