Mark items as favorites in Apple Music on the web
You can mark items as “favorites” in Music to make them easier to find. If you subscribe to Apple Music, you can get notifications on new releases from your favorite artists, and easily get back to their music from Home.

Add items as favorites
Go to music.apple.com .
Do any of the following:
Add a favorite album: Click Recently Added or Albums in the sidebar, move the pointer over any album, click , then choose Favorite.
Add a favorite song: Click Songs in the sidebar, move the pointer over any song, then click to the left of the album cover.
When you mark a song as a favorite, it appears in the Favorite Songs playlist (below Playlists in the sidebar). Additionally, it’s automatically added to your library.
Add a favorite playlist: Click a playlist in the sidebar, click (on the right), then choose Favorite.
Add a favorite artist: Click Artists in the sidebar, select an artist, then click next to their name.
If you subscribe to Apple Music and you add artists as favorites, you automatically receive notifications when they release new music. If you want to manage notifications and you have the Music or iTunes app on your computer or device, you can do so there. To open the app directly from Apple Music on the web, just click the link in the bottom-left corner.
Your favorite items are easily identified by the highlighted Favorite button .
Remove items as favorites
Go to music.apple.com .
Click any option below Library or a playlist in the sidebar.
Your favorite items are identified by the highlighted Favorite button .
Do any of the following:
Click .
Click the More button (it looks like this or this ), then choose Undo Favorite.
