Configure Setup Assistant panes in Apple TV devices
You can control which Setup Assistant panes users see when they plug in an Apple TV. For example, if supervised Apple TV devices are enrolled in a mobile device management (MDM) solution and managed by Apple School Manager, Apple Business Manager, or Apple Business Essentials, you can probably use the options below to prevent them from initially configuring those devices.
Important: All options in Setup Assistant can be configured later by the user unless you permanently restrict these features using your MDM solution with a restrictions payload in a configuration profile on the device.
Setup Assistant pane | If the pane is hidden from the user | ||||||||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
App Analytics | The user can’t choose whether to send diagnostic app data to developers. | ||||||||||

Remote Management | This pane can’t be skipped if the device was added to Apple School Manager, Apple Business Manager, or Apple Business Essentials and Automated Device Enrollment in MDM is used. | ||||||||||
